If simulated realism is a contradiction in terms, then Marek Brodziak’s jaw-dropping RainyDay rain-on-a-windowpane JavaScript animation surely bridges the gap. The simulation uses the canvas element to good effect as small raindrops combine to form larger water drops which eventually float gracefully down the window’s glass. Yes, the glass is there. Look!
